In the immediate vicinity, you will find numerous recreational opportunities, such as Bosland, Bokrijk, Kelchterhoef, Molenheide, and the Hoge Kempen National Park. Charming shopping towns, restaurants, and business parks are also located a short distance away.
Ter Dolen Castle
500 m from the house you will find the Ter Dolen castle brewery, where you can enjoy a terrace with a local beer. Guided tours of the brewery are given here on Sundays. It is best to book these in advance. Click here

Bokrijk is a recreational domain where you can be overwhelmed by history in the open-air museum, find large playgrounds, simply enjoy a nice walk, and grab a bite to eat at the same time.
Bovy Estate
In the vast 34-hectare walking park, you experience De Wijers in miniature. Here, you fully enjoy nature and treat your taste buds in Bistro Bovy or on a sun-drenched terrace.
Children can let off steam in the playground.

Royal Limburg Golf
The 18-hole course is located on an estate of approximately 65 hectares in Houthalen Helchteren.
The renowned British golf architect Fred Hawtree designed a fascinating course, partly amidst the moorlands and sand dunes and partly in a more wooded area.

Bosland is the largest adventure forest in Flanders where children are in charge. Parents can come along too, if they behave.

At the Kelchterhoef estate, 5 km away, you can do much more than just walk or cycle in the beautiful nature. Aqua mundo
